Temporary Patients
Are you visiting or staying away from home and feel unwell?
- You can register as a temporary patient for up to 3 months
- Contact the local GP where you’re staying
- For short stays (less than 2 weeks), you can still see a doctor without fully registering
We Are a ‘Safe Surgery’
We are proud to be an official Safe Surgery. This means:
- We will never ask about your immigration status
- Your information is safe
- We do not discriminate based on:
- Race
- Gender
- Religion
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Appearance
- Medical history
- · If you don’t speak English well, ask us for an interpreter – we’re happy to help.
Your Named GP
All patients at Penrhyn Surgery are given a Named Accountable GP.
Our Named GPs are:
- Dr Olukayode Oremakinde
- Dr Oluwatoyin Oremakinde
What this means
- Your named GP helps coordinate your care
- If a third party asks for your GP’s name, use your Named GP
- You can still see any doctor or nurse in the surgery – you’re not limited to just one
- Your named GP is not available 24/7 – care is shared across our team
Everyone is Welcome
Whether you’re new to the area, visiting, or don’t have documents – you still have the right to register with a GP and get care.
If you're unsure or have questions, our friendly reception team is here to help.
